Toyd Fm is Tohyde 13th Hoare, Twyd 1255 Misc (p), Twohide 1518 Hoare, Towhide 1540 LP, Twoyde , Twoyd , Twyde 1570 PembSurv, Twyde 1642 WIpm, Tweed 1675 Ogilby. 'Two hides,' v. hid and cf. Tinhead, Fifield supra 141, 207. As Martin is not mentioned in DB we cannot trace the history of this measure of land.
