Etymology

Bulidge Ho is Bolhides 1606 PCC, Bulhyde 1636Recov and was the home of Thomas de Bolehide (1275 Aubrey) and John de Bulhyde (1333SR ). 'Bull-hide (of land),' v. hid . The s is no doubt pseudo-manorial.
