Hamspray Ho. Cf. Spraye t. Hy 3For , 1276 StOsmund, 1287FF , 1367For , Spray 1257 ib. The name goes back to OE spræg , 'brushwood' etc., discussed in PN D 208, s. n. Sprytown. Cf. Lower Spray in Inkpen over the county border in Berkshire.
