Widdenham Fm (6″) is Wydenham , Wedenham 1363, Wydenham 1382NewColl , Widenham mead 1583 WM xiii, Widham 1773 A and D. The first element is probably OE  wiðegn , 'withy,' hence 'hamm where withies grew.'
