St Ann's Hill (Tan Hill (6″)) is S . Anns Hill 1610 S, St Annes or St Anns Hill 1773 A and D. The famous Tan Hill Fair was held on Aug. 6, the Feast of St Anne. The church of All Cannings is dedicated to that saint.
