The Park (lost), parcum 1425 Rent, (the ) Parkes 1487MinAcct , 1612 Surv, 1687 Lease, the pairkes at Ledes 1546 TestLds, Leedes Parke 1612 Surv, v. park ; cf. also the parke buttes 1552 TestLds, Park Close 1612 Surv, Park Crosse 1576 PRLds, le Parke Style 1612 Surv (v. butte , cros , stigel ). The park was west of the town and its name survives in Park Lane 126supra .
