'Dairy farm,' v. wic . The later forms go back to the OE dat. pi. (æt þæm ) wicum . Cf. Wicken (PN Nth 108), Wykin (Lei), Wich p. 1186, Wiken c. 1200 Dane, and Wicken (PN C 75) with the same history.
