Pophills (6″) is Popihull 1262 FF, Ass , 1318 ib. (p), 1327 SR, 1436FF , Popyhull 1293Ass , Pophull 1315 ib., 1332 SR (both p), Popuhulle 1321 Pat (p), Popehyll 1505 AD ii, Pophills 1656 Dugdale. Probably 'poppy hill' from OE  popig and hyll.
