Broxtonfield (lost) is Brocsturnefeld t. Ed 1, Brockesthurneveld 1295, Broxtonfeld 1413, 1502, Broxtonfield 1848 RowRec. This must be OE  brocces þyrne , 'badger's thorn-clump,' v. þyrn , feld .
