Fulham Wood (6″) is probably near the site of Folewelle 12thCombe , 13th AD iii, Folewell 1247 Dugd 205, Fulwell 1699Buccleuch , Fulwell Spinney c. 1720 ib. Probably 'muddy spring,' v. ful , wielle , though the first element might be OE  full , 'full.'
