Etymology

The etymology suggested for this name by Zachrisson in the Vising Mélanges (194) is doubtless the right one. He takes it to be from OE  cȳna -ora , 'cows'-bank,' v. ora . Cf. Keyhaven (Ha), Kyhaven 1300 Ch.
