Yotham is Yoztham , Yortham 1396 SAC 53, 46–7, Yottum stream 1653CplM , Yothams c. 1840TA . Professor Ekwall suggests that this is for OE  geard-ham (m ), 'ham(m) marked by a geard' or enclosure of some kind, yord is an occasional ME  form for yerd . For t , cf. Waltham supra 77.
