Luxford Fm was the home of Bartholomew de Luggesford (1279Ass ) and Isabel de Lockesford of Mayfield (1327 SR).Possibly 'Locc's ford,' v. ford . Luxford Fm is Loggesforth 1509 (Pullein 235), Luckesford 1587 (ib.).
