Etymology

Boothland Fm. This takes its name from the family of Booth .A Daniell Booth acquired lands in the parish in 1636 (Norfolk ) called Berelands , Stridelands , Batchelers , and Deanelands . The first three are probably now absorbed in Boothland. The last may be Deanhouse infra .
