Holdhurst Fm is Holeherst 1203 FF, 1225Ass (p), Holehurst 1279Ass , 1298 FF (p), 1332 SR (p), Holenhurst 1263Ass (p), Holdhurst 1765 R, Hollust 1842TA . Holdhurst is on a hill, so the first element cannot be OE  holh, 'hollow'; rather it is holegn , 'holly,' as suggested by the 1263 form.
