Etymology

Barhatch Fm (6″) is Berehacche t. Hy 6Rental , Berehacchelande , Berehacchewode 1521Ct , Berhacche 1544SR , and was the home of Benedict ate Berhacche (1332 SR). The name is probably a compound of OE  bære, 'swine pasture,' and hæcc , 'gate.'
