Starrock Green (6″) is Storrok 1575AddCh , Storrock 1823 G, and was the home of Rocius de Stonrocke (1265 Misc), Roger atte Stonrock (1325Ass ), ate Staurokk ' (sic) (1332 SR). The name is self-explanatory and is found elsewhere in this county, and in Sussex and Kent (cf. s. n. The Rocks, PN Sx 391).
