Barrowhills is Threm burghen 675 (13th) BCS 34, Threeborowhill 1605LRMB , Threebarrow Hills 1785 Cary. 'At the threehills,' v. beorg . This is an old boundary mark (v. supra 105 n.) and there are three large barrows here (SAC i, 85).
