Nunhead is Nunhead 1680 Index Villaris, None Head c. 1745 RocqueSurv, Nun or None Head 1777 A and D, Nonehead Hill 1789 L and C. The Nuns Head was an Inn here, with Tea Gardens, and dancing on Nun Green adjoining (Blanch 350).
