Rede Hall is Red (e )hall (e ) by Burstowe 1332 Ipm, Redhalle 1332, 1335 Cl, Redehalle 1371 Cl, Redhaule 1617Recov . For the first element v. infra 364–5. The second element is 'hall,' v. heall .Hence, 'hall by the clearing.'
