Wonham (6″) is Wonham t. Hy 2AddCh (p), 1199 FF (p), 1225Ass (p), 1328 Pat, 1332 SR (p), Woneham 1241Ass (p). This is probably OE  (æt þǣm ) wōgan hamme , 'at the crooked or curved hamm.' The place lies in a bend of the Mole.
