Etymology
Court Ho, 1833 OS. There is a small square moat here with associated earthworks. Berry Croft adjoins on TAMap , Berry being from byrig in the sense 'manor house'. VCH X63 says the “court of Gretton” was mentioned in 1529. Only derelict cottages remain.
