Etymology
Colmore Fm (6″). Cf. Collemeresgrove 1263 FF, Kolemeres furlang c. 1275 AD. Possibly 'Cola 's pool,' v. mere . Coldmoor Wood and Field, which appear on the 6″ map a little to the north, may contain a corrupt form of the same name.
