Early-attested site in the Parish of Stowe Nine Churches

Etymology

Ramsden Corner Plantation (6″). Ramsden is the ramboldesdene of BCS 986. It lies on the Stowe-Weedon boundary.v. denu . The first element is clearly a personal name. Forssner (209) s. n. Rainbald , would take it to be Continental in origin, but there are genuine OE  Rægen -names, and it is more likely from an OE  Rægen -beald .
