Moulton Lodge

Early-attested site in the Parish of Moulton

Moulton Lodge. Cf. Loggeweye 14thNthStA . Here, as elsewhere in the county, we doubtless have ME  logge used in the sense, first recorded in the NED s. a. 1465, of 'house in a forest serving as a temporary abode in the hunting season.'
