Etymology

'Klak 's village,' v. þorp . For the Danish name Klak or Klacki (ON  Klakkr , OSw  Klakker ) v. NP 81. There is mention of more than one Clac (c ) in the list of Peterborough sureties (BCS 1130).The p.n. is identical with Klastorp , found twice in Sweden.
