Crack's Hill

Early-attested site in the Parish of Crick

Etymology

Crack's Hill was known as Crick Hill in 1839 (cf. a list of field- names of Crick made in that year by John West of Little Bowden). The form Crackshill or Craxhill seems to be of later date.
