Lingate, maner ' de Lyngate 1592Ct Dilham , a hamlet and a manor, held by Robert Elmham of North Walsham when he died in 17 Edw4, 1477–8, and by Margaret Willoughby dying in 35 Hy8, 1543– 4 (Blomefield XI75); cf.
