Bushey Park is Bushie Parke 1650ParlSurv , Bushey Parke 1667 Sess. The forms are too late to decide whether this is simply a late name, 'bushy park,' or whether it is an old compound of bysc and (ge)hæg, 'bush-enclosure,' as in Bushey (PN Herts 64).
