'The new settlement', v. nīwe , tūn . The manor was held by Ricardus de Harcurt in 1236 Fine and remained in this family through Saerus de Harecurt 1258 ib, Alex ' de Harecurt 1273Wyg to Johannes de Harecourt 1328 Banco; cf. Kibworth Harcourt supra .
