Etymology

'Tóki's farmstead, village', v. . The specific is the ON  pers.n. Tóki (ODan  Toki , OSwed  Toke ). In DB, Tochi is recorded as holding Tugby as part of a larger estate TRE. Spellings with th for t are the result of AN  orthographical interchange between the symbols th and t for etymological t . Also AN is k represented by ch before a front vowel.
