Gunesbroke, le Gunnesbrok' 1431 (v. brōc; Gun is poss. a hill - name of uncertain origin (cf. Gun Hill, Db 576, Gun Hills, Db 618 and Gun, StH 288), since the ON   masc. pers. n. Gunni accorded a ME   secondary genitive in - es would be unlikely compounded in a stream - name)
