Etymology

'Cybba's enclosure', v. worð . The masc. pers.n. Cybba is OE. Some early spellings have AN  orthographic ch for c k before i . The manor of Kibworth Beauchamp was held by Walterus de Bello Campo c.1130 LeicSurv, Angareta de Bello Campo 1239 RGros and remained with this family as late as Ricardus de Bello Campo 1407 Cl, while a Thomas Beauchamp is recorded associated with the manor in 1428 FA.

Note the prefixing of MLat  alia 'the other (of two)'. The township adjoins Kibworth Harcourt infra but lies on slightly lower ground, hence Nether ~.
