Etymology

Ninnings Fm (6″). Cf. Nynnings Dell 1517, Nynynfeld 1544, Nynnynsfeld 1547, Nyneings 1653 Verulam. This is the same name as Innyngs Ho infra 128, the initial n being from the ME  atten , 'at the,' cf. Napsbury supra 95.
