This name is identical with Robley (Ha), Wrobban lea in BCS 625, and has already been discussed in PN Wo 253–4 (s. n. Wribbenhall). See also PN NRY xlv and Rableyheath infra 111. It clearly contains a personal name allied to the name found in Wrabness (PN Ess 358). Hence, 'Wrobba 's leah.'
