Swangley's Fm is Sueninghele 1278Ass (p), Swaningele ib., Swanglee 1294SR (p), Swanele 1307 ib., Swanegle 1323 ib., Swangleys ferme 1575Lytton . Perhaps 'clearing of Swān 's people,' v. ing , leah , though the earliest form suggests confusion with the Scandinavian Sveinn .
