Meosglegeo(v.l. meosgeleo) 759(v. mēos'moss, bog',the second el. uncertain but Forsberg 76 notes other examples, rah gelega 849BCS 455(Wo) and grim gelege 871–99 ib 565(Brk) and suggests it is an OE *gelǣge, and Löfvenberg 116 an OE gelegu with some such meaning as'tractof land, layer')
