Etymology
'The nook of Willa 's people,' v. ing , healh . Spain because held in 1086 (DB) by Hervey de Ispania who came from Épaignes (Eure). Doe from Hugh de Ou or D 'eu (t. Hy 2 M ii, 477), earlier Rokele from Philip de la Rokele (1198 FF).The churches of Willingale Spain and Doe, which are in the same churchyard, are dedicated respectively to St Andrew and St Christopher .
