v. supra 82. Usually Mount forms an attribute, but it is also used alone; parish of Munt (1558 Stapleford TawneyPR).Cf. Theydon Garnon supra 84 and Aythorpe Roding infra 491.Called Theyden Lessington in 1282 (Pat), from the family of John de Lexeton , Lessinton , who bought the manor and advowson of Theydon de Monte (a. 1254 EAS xviii, 18), and Henry de Lexinton , parson of Tayden in 1267 (Pat). Also called Theidon Parva (1373 Londin).
