Perry Street is Gynges à la Pere 1254Ass , Perystrete 1542Ct , Peartree Street , Peartree Farm 1777 C, Peartree Green 1805 O. The pear-tree from which Buttsbury (supra 242–3) was named, perhaps gave name to Perry Street also. v. pirige .
