Etymology

'Ēata's grove', from the OE  pers.n. Ēata (Redin 64) and bearu, with neoðerra 'lower', uferra 'upper', Lat  parva 'little'. Nether Adber is marked (6″) in the neighbouring par. of Marston Magna (So).
