Westwood Fm (SY 987808), Westwode 1332 SR (p), Westwood (Fm )1774 Hutch1, 1811 OS, 'west wood', v. west , wudu . The farm lies in the E of the present par. but lies W of Langton Wallis in Langton Mat. par. infra , to which manor it formerly belonged (Boswell 18, Hutch3 1533).
