West in relation to Chaldon Herring supra , v. west ; Boys from the family of de Bosco or Boys , cf. Robert — 1269 Misc, Hugh de Bosco 1280 Ch. There was at one time a church here, referred to as 'the church of Chaluedone Boys '1294 FF, ecclesie de Westchaluedon 1404Weld 1, cf. Hutch3 1344, v. St Nicholas's Church infra .
