Etymology

v. leah . The exact form of the pers. name is difficult to determine. Blomé suggests (107) that we have the same Anglo- Scandinavian pers. name Inwar as in Inwardleigh supra 149.OE  Inweald or Inweard is also possible. Inuald is on record in OE.
