Etymology
'Farm on the river Dart' (supra 4). For the homm in the earliest form, v. s. n. South Hams supra 264. There is a great bend (v. hamm ) in the Dart here but the context in which the form Derentunehomm occurs hardly allows of our taking the name to refer to this.
