Etymology

'Hræfn's or Hrafn's farm', v. tūn , the first element being either the OE or the OScand pers.n. The form Ravenestorp , which appears in the Lei DB, appears to belong here. If so it is an example of the attempt to replace a native by a Scand element and might indicate that the first element is indeed OE  Hræfn .
