'East farm', v. ēast , tūn , cf. the nearby Weston upon Trent, infra 511. It is described as near Shardlow, Thulston and Weston infra 501, 462 and 511. The form Easton 958 BCS 1041 quoted by Ekwall (DEPN) does not belong here.
