Etymology
The whole of the parishes of Normanton by Derby and Osmaston by Derby and parts of the parishes of Alvaston and Boulton, Chaddesden, Darley Abbey, Littleover, Mackworth, Markeaton, Mickleover, Sinfin Moor and Spondon are now included within the county borough of Derby.
