Tarvin

Parish in the County of Cheshire

Etymology

The rest of Tarvin parish, including Bruen Stapleford, was in Eddisbury Hundred v. 3268. In DB, both the Staplefords were included in Stapleford in Dudestan (Broxton) Hundred, from which it appears that this manor was divided at the re-organization of the Cheshire hundreds, cf. 1supra .
