Etymology

'Loll or Lull 's enclosure,' v. worð . Cf. Lowleth (PN Sr 381), Spitalfields (PN Mx 151) and Lulworth (PN Do 140–1). All these names alike alternate between forms in Loll and Lull and between forms based on strong Loll or Lull and weak Lolla , Lulla .
